Great work people. I?e taken a look on the book, and it? fabulous! Now, I can? wait for San cristobal, he he...Congratulations, you?e the best!!!
Thank you. It was a bit of work, but I'm pleased that everyone is enjoying it (despite the fixes needed).
That being said, just don't ask me about a certain other book yet, I've been sworn (with actual swear words) not to plan, discuss, or even think about SC (ah dammit I just did) until Fall.

Glad everyone has taken well to Marks and mine's first collabrotive efforts. We hope to have more, we certainly have the ideas for them, it seems. As for SC, yeah, that's going to be a bit of time aways. 50+ pages of material every few to several months apart is more then enough work for us; especially when there's no paycheck ont he back end.
Thanks againto all the folks who submitted their wonderful ideas and places and characters.

Not complaining or offering critisism just want to explain. A good part of the reason I never offered to help on Numa (although I thought hard about it) was the strict timetable you were working under. I understand the reasoning for it. But I've been preparing for the local Con here in the STL area for my buddy who runs ut. Between the LARP I've been helping put together (Spycraft not 7th Seas, sorry), the RPG sessions I run (again Spycraft) and work (just starting our busy season) I just did not have the time. Hopefully for San Cristobal Ican scrape up the time to help.
BTW if any of you are in the St Louis area, this weekend is Diecon (http://www.diecon.com). The reason I'm not running any 7th seas but all Spycraft is that Pat Kapera (who HAS done work on 7th seas) is our Guest of Honor. He and two other writers for AEG were able to get the license for Spycraft and formed their own game company, Crafty Games, web site is http://www.crafty-games.com/dnn/. I'm not sure if there is any 7th seas on the bill but if anyone wants to show up if you can't find anything your interested in we may be able to get a pick up game going on Sunday.

Hey Jim, Mark and I appreciate you not voicing your participation for the reason that you did as opposed to committing and then not being able to do so. That's totally cool. And actually very much appreciated.
As for the next book, San Christobal, we will most assuredly have as strict a timetable as we did for Numa. Mark and I like to move on things, we get cold feet standing around doing nothing. However, we are not starting that (or even discussing its plans) until after Gen Con, so you have NOW until THEN to write up a TON of ideas to hold onto until we start that thread.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the next two months.

We're not discussing San Christobal at this point, we'll start a thread after Gen Con (Mid August) when we are ready to start moving on that.

I just want to reiterate what RS mentioned above. San Christobal (or Christobol if you use the 'old' spelling...) will not get underway until mid-August/September. By that, we mean that we will not be asking for submissions/kicking it into high gear until then. That does not mean that you all cannot start writing/coming up with ideas/doing research/etc. By all means, you have almost 3 months before we even start to get into this. That should be plenty of time to write up some stuff.
I'm heartened to see so many of you eager to get into this next one.
Mark

Okay, there's a Numa book now? Where is it? I don't see it on the forum, but I do have the Inattentive flaw.
