Rebecca waited in the trees for the boat to get closer. From her view she could see the Pilot, and tried a couple of times to work on reducinghis piloting skill strand, but for some reason, it just wouldn't work.(Known best as lousy dice rolling!) So she waited til it came close enough, climbed out on one of the limbs of the tree she was in, and jumped down on to the boat when it got under her.Emelio, meanwhile helped Sieg up the rest of the way into the boat. Seig noticed that Emelio was limping, but otherwise seemed fine. Seig on the other hand, was a bit on the rough side, with all his injuries that he had gotten, but was determined to help rescue Emelio's sister. Emelio points to the starbord side and saids to Seig, "I've got that side, you take this one!" and he heads over to attack the men on the other side of the ship. Seig has a few on this side to contend with, but even with his injuries, is able to dish out some major damage. It helped that Rowena was still shooting arrows into some of the men on his side of the boat, and making them fall asleep. Renee was still following the boat from the shore, slow but sure, slightly ahead of Rowena, who stopped occationally to shoot her arrows.Having landed on the boat, Rebecca makes her way to the Pilotscabin, who had been a little distracted by the fighting going on between his men and Emelio and Seig, and by keeping an eye on where his boat was on the river, trying to avoid the sandbars. But as Rebecca arrives in his cabin, long knife drawn and demanding that he stop the boat and bring it back to shore, he quickly turns the wheel and sends the boat into a sandbar, knocking Rebecca off balance, and she she falls back out on the deck, and almost overboard, before she catches the rope railing, stoping herself. Seig and Emelio also lurch when the ship turns quickly and hits the sandbar, but each keep their balance, and continue their fights. Seig dropping the last man standing against him on his side of the boat, just as the Pilot comes out of the cabin, with a gun, looking for Rebecca, but seeing Seig, takes aim and fires. Luckly he misses. He then tosses the gun back into the cabin, and draws his sword, and he and Seig go up against each other.Emelio finished up the few guys on his side, to find the stairway down to the hold, and continues to fight the men that are inside. Above deck, as Seig and the Pilot are fighting, a female scream is hear, and also a scream of terror from Emelio.Rebecca gets her feet back under her, and heads over to help Seig, who had been knocked down by a pommel blow to the face. She gets in a good stab with her long knife, but the Pilot turns and with a quick twist of his sword, disarms her, and catches the knife in mid air. "Don't do that again!" the man saids to her, turning back to Seig to get in another hit with his sword. Seig takes another wound, but gets up, while the Pilot is distraced by Rebecca again, as she pulls out her new dagger and tries to stab him with it, but misses.Renee by now had arrived at the tree that Rebecca had used to get on to the boat, and she does the same, since the boat hadn't moved to far, being stranded on a sandbar. She gets on board, and heads over to the starboard side of the boat, to see if Emelio needed some help. She finds a lot of bodies lying about, and hears someone comming up the stairs. Taking out her gun, she waits to see who it is, but it turns out to be Emelio, with a large sack over his body, which he throws into the river. "Who's that?" Renee asks him. "That was the person who shot my sister!" he replied, heading back down the stairs and waving at Renee to join him. "There is still some more men to fight, but I need you to watch my sister while I go help Seig, please." he saids as he leads Renee over to the young woman they had met but once before. She is pale, but alive, and there is a bandage across her forehead, that is slightly bloody. Emelio then takes off.Above deck, Seig is wavering and having trouble keeping his sword up. Rebecca takes a stab at the Pilot again, misses, tries one more time and hits, getting a lucky blow, causing him some damage.But the Pilot is still mostly focused on Seig, and with another quick twist of his wrist, disarms Seig, who then moves into a wrestling stance, and tries to grapple the man, but misses.Emelio comes up behind Rebecca, grabbing her shoulder and saying to her, "This is Seig's fight." pulling her aside, and stating out loud, for Seig to hear, as he throws Seig's sword back to him, "What are the terms of the fight? First blood?" Seig looks over at Emelio as he catches his swordand laughs, looking at the bloody mess he is in, from all of his wounds. "There are no terms." he replies. "Then this is not an honorable fight, then?" Emelio asks. "No." Seig saids, and Emelio turns and thrust his sword into the Pilot, injuring him to the same point that Seig is at. Rebecca looks over at Emelio, a little startled at his actions, but saids nothing. "Now we are more even." Seig states to the Pilot.The Pilot sighs, and saids. "What do you want? Just take it and leave me my ship, and go, you river pirates!""Who are you calling river pirates!" Seig said, "We are hear to rescue his sister!" he saids pointing to Emelio. "Who you have taken against her will. Hand her over and we will leave you and your men.""I was paid to deliver her and her escort down the river. I was told that there might be some people hunting for her, that were up to no good. Take her and leave. We did not get paid enough for all this problem it has caused."With that, they allow the Pilot back to his cabin, to get the boat back to land, as it had worked its way free of the sandbar, and Renee came up with the young woman. "Where is her escort?" Rebecca ask. Emelio looks embarrased, but informs them that he had found the escort with a gun to his sister's head, and had been forced to kill the escort, before the woman could kill his sister. That had been the "sack" he had tossed overboard earlier. The woman's gun had gone off, giving his sister a graze on the forehead, but otherwise she seemed fine.So taking his sister, they leave the boat, to head back to Frieburg.That is where we left off tonight.
