Clemens introduces the brothers as Jan and Heinreich, then takes his leave. Sig looks over at Jan, the one who had called him a d**khead, and is about to call him out, when Heinreich reaches over and grabs at Renee's derriere, to pull her close to him, thinking that he can persuade her better that way. She hauls back and throws a punch at his face, catching him by suprise, and knocking him down, but not out. He looks up at her and with a big grin on his face gets back up to try again. His brother looks over at this, looks back at Seig, and saids "Two to one he wins." Seig looks over at Renee, who is busy watching Heinreich get back up, and nods. Meanwhile Rebecca and Rowena are standing safely over by the bar, also taking bets, between themselves and other occupants of the pub.Heinreich once again makes to grab Renee, and is able to get a hold on her, one armaround her back and one hand on her lower backside. She tries to break his hold, but is unable to, and he gives a big grin over to his brother, who cheers him on with a wave of his beerstein. Taking that moment, Renee tries to knee him in the family jewels, only to find that he has a protective cod-piece to prevent it. "Ha!" he saids, "I have had that happen before, my fiesty maid, so I now know better!" as he tightens his hold on her, grinning at her."I have money to get a room." he saids into her ear, as he continues to hold her close to him. She then takes and slams her forehead into his nose, hearing the snap as it breaks, but doesn't loosen his hold. Seeing that he seems more lecherous with all her struggling, she tries another strategy, and leans into him tosay "What's taken you so long to ask. Let's go!", and he let's go in suprise.Rowena and Rebecca watched while Renee brawled with the big Eisen, and Rebecca once whispered to Rowena if maybe they should help, but Rowena said to wait, so they did. While Seig was just about to get the money out to pay Jan when Jan overheard Renee's words to Heinreich, and turns around to say "No!", as Renee, now free, takes another punch at Heinreich, hitting him on the sweet spot on the jaw, knocking him down and out of the fight, but not out physically. He was now seeing three of Renee, and decided that if the first one wasn't going to be amenable to him, maybe one of the other two might be. Sig laughs, and looks over at Jan for his money, and Jan pays him and ask him what they wanted to speak of in the first place, before they had been distracted.Seig informs him that they had heard of the "monster" in the old womans basement, that he had heard that the brothers had tried to kill it earlier, and wanted some information about it."It was dark" said Jan, "So we didn't see much, except that it had glowing eyes, and that it hit at us with limbs, and clawed at us with claws. So we left and came here. That is all the information I have. "We turn to head back out, but as we do, Jan and Heinreich stop us. "If you plan on fighting the creature, I would suggest that you wait til daytime. The creature did seem to hate light. For a fee, we can go over to the house and watch it to make sure it doesn't leave until you get back in the morning." Jan said, but Seig declines and we head out, Renee looking over at the other two women, who were cleaning up on their bets, and we head out, Renee in the lead, Seig in the back to guard the women from any more ardent men.Just outside we decide to head off towards the inn, and as Rebecca heads out the door of the pub, she looks behind her once more, and sees Jan making a motion to his brother, that catches her eye, and raises the hackles on the back of her neck, and as they head down the street she tells the group about it, and we decide to head to the old woman's house instead. As we head around a corner, a familure voice calls out behind us on the street, familure to Renee at least, but it is to men he is leading, and not to us, as he had not noticed us yet. "We have information that the dirty rotten thief is dressed as a "fine lady", so keep an eye out men, and check everyone!" It was the lead Musketeer, and he was leading a band of sell-swords to find Renee, so we head up farther away, but they are on their way up towards us, so Renee checks one of the closed doors we pass, and with a quick thrust of her sholder, is able to push it open, and close it behind her, while Seig pulls out a map, and hides behind it, while Rebecca starts "b*tching" to him in Vodacce, about getting lost and how they will never get back to the inn, and so on and so forth , while he replies "Yes, Dear" every few moments. The Musketeer comes up to them and apologizes to them, to have to bother them, but needs to check to see if we had seen the woman he has a drawing of, on his wanted poster. Rebecca continues to "b*tch", and Seig apologizes to the Musketeer, who said that it was ok (while he and his men snickered behind their grins), and that she definately couldn't be the woman he was looking for, but the other woman(?), in the pants (Rowena), who was she, and could they check her. "She is my, I mean my wife's bodyguard. She insisted on having one, even though I am a member of the guild." Seig saids, rolling up his eyes in the " I got to cater to the wife" type of roll, and the men nod their agreement, and look over at Rowena, to see if she matched the picture on the paper.Inside the building, Renee is holding the door shut, listening, when she feels a nudge against her back, and turns around to see a old man, standing there holding a blunderbuss and a lit taper, that barely makes much light, but enough spark that he can use it to set off the blunderbuss. "What are you doing in my home! Thief! I'll shoot!" Seeing the gun, that looks like it's seen better days, a long long time ago, Renee holds up her hands, but doesn't understand what the man is saying, but can guess, and tries to act like she is drunk. He saids something else, and waves the gun at her. She tries to pretend to pass out, but makes a bad show of it, and he waves her to get up and sit in the chair in the hallway, while he opens the door to see what is happening outside, with the voices he is hearing.Just as the Musketeer finishes looking at Rowena, but not checking what she has on her (she is carrying Renee's blades), the old man opens the door, sticking his gun out first, but still holding the taper near it. The Sell-swords, seeing the gun start to go for their weapons. Rebecca turns and tries to figure out how to stop the man from mentioning Renee, tries to see his hubrus, sees nothing, but still tries to activate it, getting nothing. "Does anyone know who this woman..." the man starts as Rebecca tries another ploy. Pretending to have tripped while turning, she falls backward, hoping tobump into one of the men, to cause a distraction. She falls flat on her back straight into the mud of the street, missing everyone, but causing a different distraction. The old man sees her just fall over for no reason, and stares without realizing that his taper is on the powderpan of the blunderbluss. Seig is looking right at the old man as it happens, the other men and Rowena are looking at Rebecca, and the Musketeer is asking Seig if his wife is ok, or does her shoes have round heals, causing her to fall down. The gun goes off, the muzzle flashes, and a large black smoke cloud engulfs the room, the doorway, and the people standing (and lying down) in front of it. The old man and Seig cough, covered head to toe in black dust, the sell-swords also are wiping their eyes from the smoke and don't see Renee sneek out of the building in the black cloud, in the dark, and head off, while they are still regaining their hearing and sight. Rebecca is finally helped up, and the old man turns around to look back inside his house, and sees as the smoke clears, that Renee is no longer there. "I blew her up!" he states. "Oh dear Theus!"So, after a few moments of cleaning themselves off of the soot, and informing the Musketeer of which inn they were (not) staying at, should he need to find them, they decide to head back to the inn to clean up and go look at the old woman's house tomorrow. That is where we left off tonight.
