I will be at Marmdog, a small convention in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on March 17. I plan on running a 7th Sea event in the afternoon slot. I will also be running a LARP for 20 in the evening slot.
I will also be at Gencon, a bigger convention you might have heard of, from August 16 to 19. I plan on being there on Wednesday evening as well (though I'm hoping to play instead of run for that one). When the events are posted, you will see a 7th sea game scheduled run by the BoEGM for the morning on the 16th and 17th (Thursday and Friday). Currently, I am planning on setting it up as a game for 6, however, I could also set it up as a game for 12 at two tables if we want to have an scheduled "open gaming" for 7th Sea set up.
I will also be running a LARP on Friday (the 17th) night starting at 8:00 pm. It is going to be a 50 player LARP set on an island of the Midnight Archipelago ruled by one of the most corrupt and decadent men in Theah. The title is A Night's Justice. It will feature a democratic trial at a party. For anyone planning on being at both Marmdog and Gencon, this will be an expansion of the Marmdog LARP with a few changes to character sheets and plotlines as required by adding 30 more players and 3 more judges.
I don't generally run on Saturday and Sunday due to other obligations. However, if someone wants to run 7th Sea, let me know and I'll be happy to set up the table if needed.
