It is with rather a heavy heart that I am stopping in my role as "Brand Manager" for the 7th Sea line. We had been working on various new projects as many on this board had heard, but changes at AEG and a lack of communication from the powers that be, mean that I can no longer guarantee that the writing by the volunteers will reach any form of audience.
It has been two years about that I took over and over that time we have released around 250 pages of new material for a line that to all intents and purposes should have been long dead. I have worked with many fine people through this time, although I must admit to a fondness to recalling discussions with the likes of John Wick and Rob Vaux when 7th Sea was a vibrant and viable property.
Since it is my intention to rather break my connection with 7th Sea in the longer run, I will likely not be reading this board for much longer. I will maintain admin at the AEG forum until they decide to mess those around and can of course be contacted by email.
So for the last time in any psuedo-official position, I wish you well and may Theus guide you.

For what its worth, I think you made the right decision. Your love of this game has shown through in all your hard work. But dealing with the powers that be is an often thankless task (especially when your only reward is the satisfaction of a job well done). They shouldn't then compound the insult by dismissing or outright ignoring your input. That seems to me to be exactly what has happened.

I will likely still get out the material I put together for the Ussura book, as I would hate to see it go to waste more then anything else. I'll decide in the coming days and weeks how I want to do that.

Any way, like everyone else has said, you did a great job and you will be missed. It's a crappy way to be treated by AEG, but you held your duties with dignity and that's worthy of respect right there. You'll always be welcome here.

Well thanks for all the work you've put into it. I love this game and most everything I've played from AEG.
(Out of curiousity, did AEG change it's name at one point? I have some old books from a super hero game that say PEG on have of them and the symbol of the compaby that made deadlands, and the other have say AEG.)

Brave New World moved companies with the writer Matt Forbeck when he briefly moved from Pinnacle to AEG. Then it was yet another game TPTB canned.
