Inish Swordsman School Idea ===========================http://www.answers.com/topic/william-lamportWhat if we were to use a fictional version of that who some may call the Real Life Zorro (See Above). I know there is already El Vago, but perhaps this man could be known simply by his name (A fictional version of William Lamport). If you look at the time of his life-span, he'd already be dead in current Theah. So why then include him at all? Well he could've been one of the first revolutionaries or tales other than El Vago to combat the Inquisition. And he could've been an excellent swordsman, adopting techniques from other schools he mastered, combining the extra flash of Valroux with the speed and single weapon stance of Aldana. Not nearly as precise as Aldana or as flashy as Valroux, it would provide an Inish alternative to the bare knuckle boxing school.I'm thinking before his final days with the inquisition, he continued to travel the world and he made certain to found a swordsman school in Inismore; his homeland, as well as in Castille. In his final days just before his sentance by the Inquisition, he spent time training three masters in the school who would go about Theah and teach the school to those in need of proper skill. The first stayed in Castille and ended up dead in a mysterious fire. The home that housed his school was burned to the ground. The second returned to Inismore where he remained until 1664 where he passed away of old age, but not before spreading the technique to others. The third is rumoured to still be alive somewhere, adventuring in the colonies of the Archipelligo and beyond. In 1668, the swordsman school was sanctioned by the Swordsman's Guild as the first Inismore independant school due to it's very standard routes in Valroux and Aldana.I think that sums up a fairly decent proposal for a new sword school. Would anyone take interest in helping me build some mechanics around it based on the description above? I'll take feedback on it. You see, being Irish myself; I think it'd be nice to see Inismore especially find a slight bit of independance as a country from the avalon isles.

Inish Swordsman School Idea
===========================

What if we were to use a fictional version of that who some may call the Real Life Zorro (See Above). Not nearly as precise as Aldana or as flashy as Valroux, it would provide an Inish alternative to the bare knuckle boxing school.

Ok, I'm almost intrigued.

So we have this Inish scoundrel who had a way of tweaking the wrong noses over his religion (or lack thereof). And he travelled a goodly part of Theah on the run from said officials but found time to get himself a sanctioned school founded.

sounds like a 7th sea hero to me.

So what do we have to work with? Answer me these questions 3.

1- We know he was a sneaky sort of guy that probably made more entrances and exits via the window than the door... So, What was his signature action that the legend was built around?

2- What was his classic weapon of choice?

3- What was his favorite color...wait, forget that one. Wrong game. What was his beef with the inquisition about? Why were they after him and he after them?

Tell me these things and we can start something.
