Simple question: Does Appearance (Above Average or more) apply to a charm, intimidate or taunt roll?

 Well, AA applies to any "social" roll and I'd make the arguement that Repartee falls under that stipulation.  The Avalon book has "Fearful Countenance" speficially apply to Intimidation rolls, so I'd say appearance advantages/disadvantages can play a part.

It always has in my game.   why not.  Remember the key to this game is that you let the players do extraordinary things with cool style.  it's not about challenging the heroes to a standstill, it's not about putting things in front of them they cannot possibly suceed at without a planning session that rivals the normandy invasion. 

It's about seat of the pants daring winning out because they are just that dashing.  And dashing people get bonuses to repartee. 

Players in 7th sea get the challenge in roleplaying not from rolling great dice in impossible odds they get challenge in creating dramatic solutions.
