I have one of the compendiums describing the swordsman/combat school for the shield man. I can see the skills and knacks provided by the training and the special bonuses for the school, but what I do not have access to is more specific detail about how the purchase of advanced knacks under athelete and dirty fighting are handled. It seems fairly common with unsanctioned schools that the advanced nack costs are reduced in lieu of guild membership. Can anyone with the ES d20 book let me know if this is the case with Shield Man?

No Advanced Athlete/DF knacks are bought as Basic knacks for Shield Man
