While joking with my players about their absenteeism during the last couple of games, I gave each of them a nomme de guerre. My wife reminded me of the title I was given, when we decided GM and DM were just not enough. Games Orientation Designer - G.O.D. for short.Having had this brought up, one of my more creative games responded with the following quote, "That must make us all the pawns of an evil deity. Pawns, as in (Players Abused With Near Sadism). Be very afraid!"To which, another player responded, "Perhaps we should resort to prayer (Plaintive Requests to Aquire YEarned for Respite)."You'd think they weren't having any fun, or something. I can't win. I game with smart-a$$es. I just had to share the fun.
