Well Kirgan, I would have to guess you're a bit closer to Europe then most of us are...You tell us how popular 7th Sea is there!

Hi there,

here in Freiburg Germany exist a small but lasting 7th community. I know and play with most of the blokes here for about 6 years.

For my knowledge there are three campaigns ongoing in Freiburg and about 14 regular player.

The game must go on!!!

A large amount of 7th Sea book sales before the line was dropped were in Europe and the line was licensed for translation into French, German, Spanish and Polish. Unfortunately AEG has no official presence in Europe so all the publicity and promotion was through their distributors, which on the whole are not the best to do so. It is notable that a good amount of freelancers working on the line (myself included) are European, which is perhaps somewhat easy to explain given the nature of the world setting.

Ok, this is from my addled memory of who has posted here in the past and a few other spots.

Germany has probably the largest concentration of 7th Sea fans outside of America and Great Britain. There is enough of a following in Norway, Spain, and France to have supported Live action events so they are likely also playing the regular RPG. We have had past posters from Russia and Italy but not more than two from either country that I am aware of.

I am not currently aware of any activity in Asia however. If someone wants to chime in and tell me otherwise, I'd love to know about it.

In Italy isn't famous at all. There's not an italian traslation of the books, and I know only one person with 7th sea in his library.
