I'm getting in on Tuesday night,
and I'll be on the Cubicle 7 stall for the con pushing Victoriana.
So come past and say hello
(we are opposite White Wolf so on you way back from buying Changeling... :-)

As I got a trade pass I was too late to sign up for any games
(missed the Dr Who one, curses)
But I'll be running a victoriana game each day,
So I'll be looking to get into a 7th sea game at some point!
(is there a live one happening this year?)

Sir, I may be a liar, a cheat and a scoundrel,
But I am also an excellent swordsman and a passable shot.
So I suggest you take that back.

there is a larp on friday night at 9 pm (i think that's the right time).

there is also a table top game thu/fri/sat mornings.  they're all full of registered players, but i am hopeful that if more people show up i can convince someone else to run a second table.

Thanks to Dana for running the LARP on Friday.
Really fab evening.
Thanks also for giving me a character that was both evil AND crazy,
and getting partnered with Ivan was just an added bonus!
(thanks too to my spymistress who was marvellously evil too!)

My only downer for the game was my camera memory getting full after only 2 photos.

So did anyone else take any photos of the game?
I thought the costumes were especially good this year, so even more annoying my camera failed me.

Wow. Gencon has really changed in the 18+ years since I last went. Dancing?!!

--------------------------------------------------------------
Follow. But! Follow only if ye be men of valour, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Just an FYI...other then a few Swashbuckling Adv. books, there was NOTHING for 7th Sea nor any sign of it. The booth was decked out entirely for L5R in card and book format.

In opposition to that, there were 3-4 booths where you could get MANY of the 7th Sea and (early) L5R  books for 5.00 each and box sets for 10.00. I grabbed a couple extra books just to ease the burdern for my originals.

they had theri own booth? step up from Columbus where they took up a desk sized patch of the Atlas, Steve Jackson, other companies that don't want to rent their own spot booth and filled it with one display rack of L5R surrounded by boxes of Warlords.
