cripes, 7th sea is all over the place there for times.  the GB7 crew run stuff mostly in the day hours and less in the evening.  But do run all 4 days nromally.  LARP will be at the tradtional friday evening time. (because satruday is reserved for megaparanoia, an even better time) 

aw, hell.  Just show up Dana, someone will play something with you.

NEWS UPDADE

Well unofficially anyway.

Over on the GenCon boards there are several posters who have some sway with Origins and, just this afternoon I saw the following post...

Keep your eyes open this weekend/next week for the schedule.  It's almost completed and just waiting on a few final touches. 




Not sure how much stock to put in this but it's something.

Since they have already indicated that the 25th is the cut off date for badges, etc.  they better be posted this weekend.  What has really fouled them up was a two week hiatus while they were at the GAMA show in Vegas.  All of a sudden they reliazed when they returned it was 7 weeks until kick off, and now they are in a panic.

I still cannot believe the lack of a buzz for this con.  With the economy as it is, with gas prices over $4 a gallon by the time of the show, with the cost of everything going up, we get silence.  The professional show's I attend for work are suffering.  People are tightening their belts, especially exhibitors.  Attendance this year will be down.  It's been hovering around 13k now for a couple of years.  They will be very lucky to match that attendace this year.

Sorry for the rant, but I love this show.  I have made all of them, and made some of my best friends at Origins (case in point, this board).

Oh well, it's 47 days and counting.

Ok Sal,
The Origins folks are (as usual it seems) late on handing out the event list.  So that I can make plans for 7th Sea and Mega Paranoia, when/where are they happening so I can schedule around them?

Here's the info I have for Origins, from Origins...

Monday, May 12 - GM changes to master event chart due

Monday, May 12 - GM Badge requests for event live day are due

Thursday, May 15th - Origins Events are live, event pre-registration begins

Sunday, May 25th - Final deadline for GM badges, Vouchers, and Hotel requests

Thursday, June 12th - Origins Event pre-registration ends
