Here are a few scenes from the Italian film "Watch Out, We're Mad" and some possible ways they could inspire scenes in a 7th Sea game.
Scene 1: A trap is sprung at a local gym...

This scene could be transferred to a variety of places, like a Numan-style spa in Vodacce or a Finnegan school in Avalon. Another possibility is a training room at a fencing academy, with varying levels of brutes amongst the students and henchman instructors. Such a scene could be part of a "feuding schools" storyline, which has been popular in martial arts films.
Scene 2: A chase, followed by a duel...

The idea of a chase turning into an impromptu joust could be interesting. Perhaps the PCs are fleeing the Inquisition and lose the thugs in the woods only to face some Knight Inquisitors with chivalrous outlooks.
Scene 3: The villain crosses the line and the heroes get even...

There can be a certain vicarious satisfaction to having heroes, particularly lower class heroes, crash a swanky party. It may be as simple as a Montaigne noble who needs to be taught a lesson in humility, or perhaps the heroes are forced to trash the event by a blackmailing Vodacce prince or a hostage-holding Riliasciare. The destruction and mayhem might not even be the main event, merely a distraction while a PC takes advantage of the situation to pull off an act of intrigue.
Just some ideas and some clips from one of my favorite films. Hope you like them.
