It´s been a lot of time since I wrote in this forum, so hi again guys, it´s good to see you again! And sorry for my poor english...
My question is: Is there any maximun values for the reputation of a PC? I´m using the noblesse obligue rules for my campaign, and I can´t find there any rule about it, neither in the core rulebooks...

I am pretty sure 130 (maybe 150, don't have the book right in front of me) is the max for PCs. It should be listed on the table in the PHB that tells you the benefits for different levels of reputation.

Aham, yep, you´re right. But... Is it the same when you use the noblesse obligue rules? I mean: It´s 130 the top value of each of the three types of reputation (social, martial and moral)? Or the sume of the three may not exceed 130 points? I´m a little confused about this...

reputation was never meant to be divided as per the original system so you need to develop an interpretation of that for use with the alternate system.

I would recommend if you are dividing the reputation to reduce the max to 45 or 50 per type with an overall (and overruling) maximum of 130.  You may even want to go as high as possibly 60 per type so that players can really specialize and focus.

Then the reputation benefits would pay off for overall reputation but dice benefits would stay more managable and realiztic to accomplishments.

Yep, that was my intention. I think the noblesse obligue rules are pretty good (in fact, I´m using them in my campaign), but I wasn´t sure in that point of the rules, so I wanted to know your opinions.
I agree with Salamanca that a maximun of 50 points in each category it´s ok, but when you talk about an overall of 130...Do you mean that the sume of the three must not exceed a total value of 130 points? I think that´s a little restrictive, but still I´m not sure about it...  What do you think?

I think that would be to keep the Reputation (and Glamour!) dice within reason, and because, there would be a point in that there is a maximum reputation, that you can't pass by diversifying.

Umm, I think you are right, the maximum value of 130, as the rules book says, it´s ok. Also, a maximum of 50 points for each type of reputation sounds pretty good. Each PC may choose wich of his reputation types wants to rise to the max, depending on the type of character they want to play. For example, a swordman PC from the rose and cross society may want to rise to 50 points his Martial an Moral reps, lefting his social rep to a maximum of 30.
Thanks for your help!
