Right now the only comic book me & the Beloved BF read regularly is Knights of the Dinner Table.

I'm reading Rebirth but not really enjoying it that much.  (Yep, still hate Hal)

Also reading JSA, Flash, Superman/Batman, Teen Titans (but might drop it soon), Green Arrow, Outsiders (Also nearing a drop list), Rising Stars, Ex Machina, Liberty Meadows, Anything Giffen does to the JLA, and Robin (though he also is about to leave my list)

I don't read Marvel anymore because I decided I really don't much like any of their characters.  I really wanted to enjoy the minisereis they did about the Captain America experiements but the art was so bad it made the story suffer.  I gave up on the X-Men a long time ago and Spiderman was never a favorite of mine.  Everytime I pick up the Avengers, it's good for 3 issues sucks for 6 and then they switch the team.

But I really can't endorse Ex machina enough.

I know I'm reading other stuff, need to go look at the pile.

Damn! Asking for exposition is like kryptonite to NPCs!

I'm at a point where my enjoyment of Rebirth is going to depend on how it ends.  I think Issue 1 was outstanding and that 2 and 3 have been solid.  I enjoy Johns' respect for continuity, and the revelations about Parallax's origin ring true despite being a giant retcon, considering the typical behavior of the Guardians of Oa (remember when they kept mind-wiping Hal so that he wouldn't know they existed?)

Robin and Batgirl are on the bubble for me.  I keep liking Titans more and more with each issue.  I just dropped Batman, because I've gotten really lukewarm about Winick lately.

Anyway, what I really mean to say is: Read Legion of Super Heroes.  It's really good.  Waid and Kitson.  The Legion.  Do it.

I miss Crossgen terribly. I loved Sojourn, the Path, and El Cazador

In theory, CrossGen was great.  A big pile of money from a guy who loved comics, a cohesive universe, and great talent.  I read The Path and El Cazador, and loved them both, but I never got into any of the others.

Knights Of the Dinner Table.  Natch!

Tom Strong.  IMO, a refreshing and great rendition of what a classic superhero type (and his family) is all about.  Likable characters, entertaining stories.

X-Men.    WAS a fan (seems to be a lot of that here).  Gave it up years ago - far  too many damn spin-offs, splinters, variants, one-offs, revisions, alternatives, whatever.  Used to be that there were  multiple storylines (not all of which had to be traumatic), but they  made  sense and those you weren't  interested in could be mostly ignored.  Now, most of the X-titles  are  totally incomprehensible to me, and what's left is as depressing as heck.  I still look at issues now and then, and always wonder afterwards why I bother trying.

Elfquest (WARP).    Long ago.  Similar story  to X-Men.

Luftwaffe: 1946.  Mostly lapsed interest.  Anime-style, with great aircraft art and some very cool ideas.  Was willing to forgive the rather bizarre premise (WW2 somehow dragging on to 1946 - in BOTH theatres!), but the incredibly confusing metaplot (somehow involving time travel, multiple alterations of history  and aliens) eventually defeated me.  Plus a strong tendency of the authors to blacken the Allies and sympathize with the Axis under the guise of being "even-handed".
